In line with the national theme “Heritage of Connections & Maritime Heritage,” we invited visitors on a high-seas adventure into the world of pirates and privateers — a nod to the château’s 18th-century origins Over 300 visitors explored several rooms specially opened and decorated for the occasion
Curious visitors were able to explore several specially decorated rooms:
– A dining room set up as if for a banquet,
– A cabinet of curiosities inspired by distant travels,
– And an ephemeral tea room, set up in an outbuilding on the estate, which met with great success
.
