TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

1. Purpose
These terms and conditions define the rights and obligations of both parties regarding the booking and purchase of services offered by Château de Saint-Pois (guest room stays, table d’hôtes dinners, private events, etc.).

2. Reservations
A reservation is considered firm upon receipt of a deposit equal to 30% of the total amount of the stay or service. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 14 days before the scheduled arrival or event date.

3. Cancellations and Modifications
● Cancellation more than 30 days prior to arrival: full refund of the deposit.

● Cancellation between 30 and 14 days before arrival: the deposit is non-refundable.

● Cancellation less than 14 days before arrival or no-show: the full amount is due.

For private events, a specific contract may define additional terms and conditions.

4. Rates
Prices are quoted in euros, VAT included. They include accommodation, breakfast, access to shared areas, and any services specifically mentioned in the selected offer. A local tourist tax may be charged in addition.

5. Use of the premises
Guests agree to respect the peaceful atmosphere of the property and use the facilities in accordance with their intended purpose. Any damage caused will be charged to the guest responsible.

6. Liability
The Château accepts no liability in the event of theft, loss, or damage to guests’ belongings while on the property. Children remain under the full responsibility of their accompanying adults.

7. Pets
Pets are not allowed, unless a prior written agreement has been granted.

8. House rules
A copy of the house rules is available in each room. Guests are required to read and comply with them.

9. Disputes
In the event of a dispute, every effort will be made to find an amicable resolution. Failing that, the matter shall fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of Coutances, France.
